It isn’t even a dress watch🙄 It’s a classic watch.. Looks like all other classic watches from the period. First dress watches ever made were actually dress pocket watches! That’s where the name dress watch derives from! They were extremely thin/slim compared to normal pocketwatches, and even compared to watches of today. Patek Philippe played no major role in the most remarkable dresss watches ever made, neither manual nor automatic!

Incredible video and what a collection. But one (maybe dumb) question. The new AP at 18:50, how is it possible that it’s unworn but the bezel has a almost black discolouring on it? I’m new to vintage and sometimes when they say the condition is exceptional I see lots of marks on for example the hands.
